Amp\u00e8re, derivato del greco k\u00ednema &#8220;movimento&#8221;) unidimensionale. Possiamo ad esempio considerare una persona che corre lungo una strada. Quello che vogliamo fare \u00e8 descrivere posizione, velocit\u00e0 e accelerazione di questo corridore. Ma prima di poterlo fare, abbiamo bisogno di introdurre alcuni strumenti matematici.<\/p>\n<h2>Il sistema di coordinate<\/h2>\n<p>Per definire il nostro sistema di coordinate, la prima cosa da fare \u00e8 scegliere l&#8217;origine del sistema. Dato che abbiamo la libert\u00e0 di scegliere l&#8217;origine dove pi\u00f9 ci aggrada, scegliamo un punto lungo la nostra strada come origine. La seconda cosa da fare \u00e8 scegliere un asse. La scelta dell&#8217;asse ci viene suggerita dall&#8217;esempio che stiamo considerando: la strada sar\u00e0 il nostro asse e lo chiameremo asse x.<\/p>\n<p>Inoltre, sul nostro asse andremo a individuare una direzione positiva e una unit\u00e0 di misura. La figura qui sotto \u00e8 esplicativa.<\/p>\n<p>Ma per parlare del movimento, non ci basta l&#8217;unit\u00e0 di misura (metro, centimetro, ovvero uno scalare) ma ci serve qualcosa che dia conto della direzione e del verso del moto: il terzo strumento che andiamo a definire, quindi, \u00e8 il concetto di vettore unitario.<\/p>\n<p>Supponiamo un moto dal punto P1 al punto P2: questo potr\u00e0 essere completamente descritto da un vettore di modulo 1 con direzione e verso coicidenti con l&#8217;asse +x. Lo stesso potremo dire per un movimento dal punto P2 al punto P3. In questo nostro sistema di coordinate unidimendionali, dunque, questi vettori hanno tutti lo stesso modulo e direzione: ma due vettori di ugual modulo e direzione sono necessariamente uguali. Ricordando che ogni punto ha una coordinata x, definiamo funzione posizione proprio x(t) che descrive come la coordinata del corridore varia nel tempo.<\/p>\n<p>Dunque, il vettore posizione coincide con x(t) se non per il fatto che questo \u00e8 un vettore mentre x(t) \u00e8 una quantit\u00e0 (scalare). Supponiamo che egli abbia la posizione x(t) al tempo t e che sia in movimento.
