At BAU 2019, Häfele will demonstrate the smart hotel of the future. The market leader for hardware and electronic access control systems has become an international hotel specialist and will showcase the added value of its project solutions with a perfect mock-up of hotels at the Hall C4 / 311 booth.
The Elegant Hotel is the result of extensive cooperation with the ALLYN brand (all you need), a start-up founded by the hospitality industry expert Alain Cheseaux, and the hotel planner and think tank Monoplan, both of Zurich.
On a space of 200 sqm on a 1: 1 scale, the hotel’s central areas will be exposed, including a lobby with automatic check-in, a conference and co-working space and the lounge bar. The visitor will thus be able to immerse himself in the world of interactive hotels equipped with intelligent devices, destined for urban areas, perfectly oriented to the rebranding of existing hotels, but equally suitable for the conversion of commercial and new buildings.
The target of the guests is the business traveler in medium and large cities. The focus of ALLYN is precisely the comfort required by hoteliers for their different operations and by guests during their stay at the hotel. The public area serves as a living room and offers space for communication and work. Digital components such as a perfect WiFi network, automatic check-in, the smartphone key and a booking app for individual services are part of the design concept.
The mock-up of the hotel allows you to see the rooms designed down to the smallest detail – from the front door and from the bedside lamp to the bathroom accessory – using the entire Häfele hotel range, consisting of over 300 products.
Regarding the design of rooms and bathrooms, designers and operators can select products and systems that are mutually compatible quickly and precisely. They will therefore be able to benefit from global availability, standard quality and consistent design.
The “ALLYN Stay smart” concept, which has already been transformed into reality, promises property owners above average returns and a comfortable and elegant environment at an affordable rate for guests.
The Häfele experts are ready to support architects, builders, technical designers and contractors from the initial planning to the implementation and installation.
With this hotel mock-up, Häfele at BAU 2019 eventually remains true to his outstanding role as a forward-looking leader in the project business and accepts new social challenges, such as the generational change in the hotel industry expected in 2019.
