What are they?
Analog position transducers transform a linear or angular movement into an electrical physical quantity. They are devices used for measurements of position, pressure, force, etc.
How the linear position transducer is made
The linear position transducer consists of a resistance enclosed in a metal container in which a rod flows. Outside the container, there are 3 leads: start, center and end.
How we measure resistance
The resistance of the transducer is measured between the start and center terminal. It can vary between 0 Ω, rod in position L=0, and the value Rmax, rod in position L=Lmax.
Features | Values | Units of measurement |
